GETTING HERE

Getting to Mt Buller

Enzian Hotel is located at Australia's most accessible snow resort, Mt Buller—just a three-hour drive from Melbourne and Melbourne (Tullamarine) international airport.

From Melbourne, a number of transport options are available including by car, coach, helicopter charter, car hire or vehicle charter. For the most up-to-date and comprehensive information, visit Mt Buller's Getting Here page.

Getting to Enzian Hotel

Upon arrival, your first stop in Mt Buller is the Resort Entry point at the base of the mountain (Mirimbah). Here you’ll be required to pay an entry fee that goes towards the costs of essential services on the mountains - this fee provides entry to both Mt Buller and Mt Stirling. To speed up your entry into the resort you can prepay.

You will then be directed up to the Mt Buller carpark. From there you will need to catch an over-snow taxi to Enzian. Costs for taxi service from the Mt Buller carpark to Enzian Hotel are here.

Enzian Hotel's address is 69 Chamois Road, Mt Buller.

Parking

If you are staying overnight, parking fees apply. In addition, as you will be travelling above the snowline, you are required by law to carry wheel chains as weather conditions can change unexpectedly throughout your stay. Cost for these vary depending on what type of vehicle you have. Once parked you will need to take over-snow taxi transportation to Enzian Hotel. Please note that there is no onsite parking for guests at any accommodation provider in the Mt Buller Village.

Bus

To reduce your costs of hiring chains, entering the resort, parking, and transport to the hotel you can park for free in Mansfield or $8.00 per night at Mirimbah at the base of the mountain and catch the MMBL bus up to Mt Buller Village. From there walk the 200 metres from the bus turnaround to Enzian (full details). It is always best to book in advance. If you plan to travel from Melbourne the V-Line bus travels twice daily (except Sunday) from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station to Mansfield and links to the MMBL bus to Mt Buller.
